Proto Tools is an American industrial hand tool company. Founded as Plomb, it is presently a division of Stanley Black & Decker. The company is credited with creating the first combination wrench in 1933. Unique 45-tooth gear pawl design provides 8° ratcheting angle while maximizing ultimate torque. Thin head design for access into tight work areas. Reversing lever design for quick, one-hand operation. Vertical hole drilled in drive plug, designed for installation of frangible collars on threaded pins. Full polish nickel chrome plated.
