Proto Tools is an American industrial hand tool company. Founded as Plomb, it is presently a division of Stanley Black & Decker. The company is credited with creating the first combination wrench in 1933. Top welded handle-to-head assembly adds extra durability and safety. Hot urethane Uni-Cast construction outlasts all other soft face striking tools. Urethane composition provides shape-retaining faces even after repeated striking on hard surfaces and sharp edges. Handle is reinforced with solid steel shaft for greater strength safety.
