SLAVE CYLINDER

As an important component of modern clutch systems, the release system, the connection between pedal and clutch, has a decisive influence on the driving experience. To ensure that the clutch is easy to operate and that the power flow can be safely metered, all components of the release system must work perfectly together. The clutch slave cylinder is the final component and positioned at the end of the hydraulic clutch system. In a semi-hydraulic version, it is always located outside the gearbox bell housing and serves to actuate the release bearing via a release fork.
